Project shortcuts
As a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, Volkswagen Financial Services AG manages the European financial and mobility services business for the Volkswagen Group brands as part of Volkswagen Group Mobility. The company is active in 18 markets through subsidiaries, shareholdings and joint ventures, making it the largest automotive financial services provider in Europe. Our project began with the stabilization and optimization of the sales workplace for SEAT/Cupra in order to increase the use and acceptance of the sales staff. After successful implementation, we further developed the system. In the next step, we developed the ŠKODA workplace to market maturity. The developers then accompanied the introduction and stabilization. To this day, the workplace is being expanded with new functions in terms of comfort and regulation. The project team consisted of an average of 12 to 20 specialists, including developers, testers and project managers.
Support and further development:
A central component of the project is the continuous optimization and maintenance of the sales workplace applications. Through proactive measures, we ensure that the applications remain both stable and functionally up to date. This includes Bug fixes and performance optimizations Regular maintenance work to ensure operational continuity Enhancements to improve the range of functions.
New launches:
We developed and implemented new workstations for ŠKODA, AEFS and service operations. The new systems offer improved workflows and increased system compatibility.
Improvement of applications
The continuous improvement of existing applications is essential for the success of the project. Important measures include Ensuring system stability to guarantee undisturbed work processes. Increasing customer satisfaction through intuitive user guidance and optimized UI elements. Simplifying sales processes through improved navigation and more efficient user guidance. Adaptations to regulatory requirements, in particular the implementation of the 2022 reform of the sales law Integration of new technologies and platforms, in particular the migration to the Azure Stack to increase performance and scalability.
Long-term effects:
The measures implemented are intended to achieve long-term positive effects: Restoring acceptance of the applications among retailers through a stable and user-friendly environment. Promotion of sales processes through a powerful and optimized working environment that supports dealers and sales staff alike. Transition from the waterfall model to the SAFe model, including the introduction of the ToolChain to make efficient use of agile development methods.
