ADAC Skipper: Digital services for boating and navigation

Together with ADAC e.V., we have developed “ADAC Skipper,” an application that supports members in planning and navigating on the water. By combining advice, services, and map functions, we have created a digital solution that makes leisure and travel easier, safer, and more comfortable.

Shortcuts to the project

With over 21 million members, ADAC e.V. is Germany's largest membership organization and offers a wide range of services related to mobility, safety, and travel. With “ADAC Skipper,” we have worked with ADAC to realign its digital presence in the field of recreational boating and boat tourism. The aim was not only to provide members with information, but also to give them an application that intelligently combines advice, services, and navigation. Thanks to close cooperation with ADAC Maps, existing map functions could be seamlessly integrated and made the heart of the solution. The result is a modern platform that digitally accompanies boaters and creates real added value on the water.

    At the outset, we worked with the customer to review and prioritize the requirements and clearly define the MVP. This ensured that everyone involved had a common goal from the outset.

    We reviewed and updated the backlog in regular status workshops. This ensured that everyone was kept informed about progress and next steps at all times.
