Bremen, August 26, 2025 – On August 22, 2025, the association “Initiative Pauschalreise e.V.” was founded in Munich. The aim of the new industry network is to raise awareness of package tours as a proven and modern travel model among the public, politicians, and consumers. As a founding member, team neusta has been part of the initiative from the outset and contributes its many years of expertise as an IT service provider to the tourism industry.
The initiative sees itself as a neutral platform that aims to highlight the advantages of package tours through fact-based communication, sales support, and active industry dialogue. The model stands for security, reliability, and attractive value for money—values that are becoming increasingly relevant in times of complex travel decisions.
"Package tours are a successful model that offers trust, transparency, and reliability. I am particularly impressed by the initiative's clear commitment to neutrality: it enables cooperation with all market players and thus the pooling of resources. This allows us to reposition package tours as a contemporary and sustainable form of travel. For us as an IT service provider, it was a matter of course to become a founding member. With our digital solutions, we want to help present package tours in a more modern way and raise consumer awareness of their advantages. It would be a great success for me if, in the coming years, we could work together to ensure that package tours are once again perceived as a future-oriented, high-quality product."
The founding members include numerous companies and personalities from the tourism industry – from tour operators and service providers to technology providers. The association is organized as a non-profit organization and is deliberately open to new members who share the goal of strengthening package tours as a contemporary product. The initiative thus sees itself as an invitation to the entire industry to take responsibility for the common future.
