Bremen, 14.06.2024 - Holiday provider Upstalsboom has launched a dynamic tour operator with the help of team neusta: UPTOUR allows customers to plan and book tailor-made trips online. "We have rebuilt the platform for Upstalsboom as a tour operator. Thanks to our expertise in tourism, we set up the complex processes intelligently and smartly and managed the organizational and technical project management," says Dirk Kabus, tourism expert at team neusta.

"Our wish was to bring a dynamic tour operator to the market that offers both B2B partners and end customers an even greater selection of vacation options, combines our portfolio on one booking platform and plays dynamically into the B2B systems. Clear processes as a basis

The aim was to build a successful new tour operator that functions effectively thanks to clear structures and processes and dynamically maps the interfaces to the existing channel management systems - in order to meet the needs and expectations of partners and customers.   The focus here is on product development, flexibility and scalability in order to be able to react quickly to changing market conditions and growth opportunities. In addition, the description of operational processes is important, such as the smooth processing of bookings, payments, customer service and employee training.

Focus on customer wishes and experience

An attractive portfolio now covers the various interests and travel preferences of the target groups. A market and target group analysis was carried out in advance for this purpose. Customers can now choose from themed trips such as "joie de vivre & enjoyment" or "energy & freedom" as well as workshops and seminars. In addition, a robust infrastructure ensures secure and efficient booking processes and a customer-centric UX guarantees an optimal user experience. "A special feature is the cross-product search result on The search results for hotels, vacation apartments, vacation homes, package tours, themed tours and seminars are available in a bundled format. The uniform search and booking workflow simplifies the vacation search for travelers enormously," says Kabus. As an additional service, insurance services have been integrated, such as those currently offered by ERGO, in order to provide vacationers with an optimal offer. As a specialist tour operator, Uptour's services are available to all accommodation partners.

Online sales are being pushed: Contracts with travel agencies and OTAs in D, A, CH will be connected and a powerful B2C website will be pushed to maximize UPTOUR's reach.

Outlook for 2024

UPTOUR will continue to establish itself on the market. Rieskamp gives an outlook: "Bookings are off to a good start and we are satisfied with the first few months. Our very clear goal is to continue to drive market penetration after the launch, to connect additional accommodation partners, new travel agencies and OTAs as well as regional service providers and to strengthen and expand the portfolio in all categories."
