The RLSmobile application is used at Arcelor Mittal Bremen to record the inventory of raw materials, enabling employees to document the status of loading and unloading of wagons and pass it on for collection. When it became clear that the 3G mobile network would be switched off, ArcelorMittal decided to switch to new handhelds (Honeywell CT60). And since the old application can no longer run on the new devices, the used application should be replaced by a new, user-friendly application. Our goal was to develop a web-based platform for the CT60 handhelds for use by colleagues on the Möller bunker and for loading Möller wagons.
The final result
The implemented functions include mobile notification of loading and unloading of wagons as well as the calibration of bunker stocks. To this end, we have designed and created a modern, intuitive and easy-to-use application that can be used via 4G or 5G network handhelds and makes it possible to document the current state of loading and unloading wagons for the connected systems.
