Our client was faced with the challenge of making its extensive knowledge resources efficiently usable. Internally, employees often struggle with complex search systems or require in-depth specialist knowledge to identify the relevant information. External users, such as customers, on the other hand, often encounter imprecise search functions or results that are difficult to understand. In addition, the presentation of the data found in an unstructured form or complicated technical language makes further processing more difficult and significantly increases the workload. Our solution addresses these problems by using AI not only to make information quick and precise to find, but also to provide it in clear and easy-to-understand language.

As part of the project, we developed an AI-based chatbot that has access to various internal databases and uses advanced language models. This enables the chatbot to understand requests in natural language and provide contextual, precise answers. The results are presented in a clear and structured way so that they are easy for users to understand. If further details are required, the chatbot is able to provide targeted additions or more precise information on request.

An application example: New employees can ask questions such as “How do I set up my laptop?” to quickly receive specific, easy-to-understand step-by-step instructions without having to laboriously search through long documents. The chatbot offers maximum data sovereignty, as all information remains in the customer's infrastructure. Both the data and the voice model can be operated entirely on the customer's own hardware. Alternatively, it is possible to keep the data locally and use the voice models in the cloud. For companies that want to minimize initial costs, a complete cloud solution is also available, in which both data and models are managed on external systems. Regardless of the variant chosen, all systems comply with European data protection standards and are fully GDPR-compliant.
