Digitization of sales processes at Gebrüder Heinemann

The Heinemann brothers commissioned us to digitize their sales processes. We opted for SAP Commerce Cloud, a flexible solution that supports the company's forward-looking digitization strategy.

Shortcuts to the project

We were commissioned to set up the B2B sales platform “HeiCloud” based on SAP Commerce Cloud (part of the c4/HANA product family) for Gebrüder Heinemann. The goal was to automate the numerous sales processes that had previously been carried out manually and to be able to interact with customers more efficiently and quickly in the future. Christian Schwidlinski, Team Lead Digital Commerce Solutions at Gebr. Heinemann, is delighted with the success of the project: “The new platform is increasing internal efficiency by digitizing and automating manual processes.”

The implementation

We launched the “HeiCloud” initiative back in March 2019.

We defined six key milestones for implementation. Positive customer feedback after the go-live of the first milestone at the end of Q3/2019 confirmed the successful pilot phase and the high quality of the solution.
In the second project iteration, we expanded the B2B sales platform with new functions and developed UX and UI concepts in parallel. Processes for creating, viewing, and managing service requests went live on schedule and within budget in Q1/2020.
The roadmap for 2020 has been defined and is being developed in an agile manner, with a focus on marketing downloads, forecasting, and product availability.
