The use of Pimcore as an open-source framework has made data maintenance at Hansefit significantly more efficient. With the new data infrastructure, we enable scalable self-management of the sports studios. By connecting the Pimcore backend to the Hansefit app, course information can be displayed and appointments can be booked and canceled by trainees on the go.
Use of Pimcore
The resulting course manager uses the Product Information Management (PIM) and Data Asset Management (DAM) provided in the Pimcore Community Edition. The system allows flexible data modeling and needs-based expansion of the initial data model for master data, courses, and appointment management. At the same time, Pimcore offers the option of centrally organizing assets (including images and videos) and intuitively maintaining them using drag-and-drop functionality. Pimcore's variable interface integration allows seamless connection of the backend to the app and to a future frontend application for individual management of network partner data. The app (Android and iOS) serves as a user-friendly interface for trainees to manage their training data.
