Website relaunch for DSV

We optimized the website and the presentation of the broad portfolio of Deutsche Saatveredelung AG (DSV).

Shortcuts to the project

The challenge with this project was to make DSV's broad portfolio of research, breeding, and seed production, as well as its advisory services for farmers, more digitally accessible and easily available to the large target group of agricultural companies. The newly developed UX and UI design resulted in a website that not only makes it easier to manage products, but also allows farmers and DSV customers to use the site intuitively.

Central product and content platform

To meet these requirements, we relied on a newly developed product information management (PIM) system. This allows DSV to maintain product data for the online sector easily, quickly, and independently. In addition, we created a modern, responsive corporate website that enables flexible management of product information and content.

The extensive data and product-specific features were clearly presented for editors and users—for the German website as well as for seven international subsidiaries, each with their own websites and editorial teams. The open-source platform Pimcore was used as the technological basis, combining PIM, DAM, and CMS in a centralized, scalable, and internationalizable solution.
