Shortcuts to the project
Our client is one of the leading manufacturers of network control technology and approached us to visualize energy data using a dashboard. The goal was to display data for predicting energy prices over the next seven days as well as data on current energy consumption of the production lines. The customer provided the backend and also set up the operating environment through another company. The dashboard gives energy managers and production planners insights into the power consumption of the halls and production lines. The data also serves as a decision-making aid, as load profiles can be planned flexibly and cost-effectively, and energy costs can be reduced.

The project process
October 2021: first workshop with project participants
We analyzed the existing solution and defined the scope of the project.
Project planning phase
We worked out the requirements with the customer and summarized them in a product backlog. We then designed the modular architecture and estimated the development effort.
March to May 2022: Development phase
We developed the platform and design in two-week sprints. The key factor here was constant communication with the customer.
