Extensive relaunch for Ameropa-Reisen GmbH

With the booking section of our tourism experts, we renewed the presentation of offers for the tour operator Ameropa-Reisen GmbH in a future-proof manner through an extensive relaunch of the front and back ends.

Shortcuts to the project

Based on the modern IBE web application (travel shop) with white label functionality and the multi-client capable travelcommerce middleware, Ameropa can now seamlessly expand its own tourism offerings with additional travel deals. Travel customers are offered an appealing shopping cart concept on ameropa.de, which checks availability and plausibility, enabling them to plan their own customized trips. The shopping cart display generates anticipation by vividly describing the planned trip.

  • The use of an advanced booking platform, a high-performance middleware, enabled a standardized connection of tourism data sources.
  • The multi-client and sub-client capability of the tourism booking platform allows branded partner sites with other offers to be operated quickly and easily within Ameropa's attractive front-end design.
  • The modern travel IBE offers flexible entry points for end customers, high-performance search, template-based detail pages, and a dynamic shopping cart solution with a wide range of payment processing options.

Use of middleware for tourism

At ameropa.de, travelers can now use the centrally located quick search function to find accommodation and round trips, making it easier to start their search. The integrated multi-room functionality allows them to flexibly specify how many adults and children of what ages will be occupying the various rooms, even during the discovery phase.

After clicking on a travel offer, a details page appears, where we have made the price calendar more user-friendly by displaying the duration of the trip. The purchase box always remains in the same place and is therefore accessible at any time for booking further travel components. The available quotas are checked in real time during interaction and customers are promptly informed of changes in availability for selected travel components.

Regardless of how travel components were searched for and selected, they are bundled in the shopping cart and displayed by location. This results in a structured and clear presentation that reflects the planned travel itinerary. The dynamic shopping cart independently checks for plausibility according to stored rules and informs potential customers of any contradictions found in trips they have put together themselves.

Until the booking is completed, the individual steps of the customer-friendly checkout process can be edited and changed.
With the relaunch, Ameropa customers are offered an attractive travel shopping experience similar to what they are familiar with from e-commerce.
