We developed a new application system for natural gas transport management for one of Germany's largest guest network operators and natural gas transporters.

Shortcuts to the project

The development of the gas market made it necessary to design and implement a new application system for natural gas transport management. We took on this task with the aim of significantly simplifying transport management across the complex pipeline networks of various companies.

Step 1
We designed and implemented the original application system as a multi-tier application with a desktop client using RCP technology.
Step 2
In line with the company's IT strategy, we migrated this to a web-based interface in a subsequent phase, which can be used with all common browsers. This was simplified by the solid architecture and layer separation of the overall system.
Step 3
In addition, we conducted an architecture review by an independent institute and received a very good rating.
