Innovation tool based on SAP
We have expanded the system with new functions, fixed bugs, and increased system performance. New process participants have been integrated, reporting functions improved, and authorization concepts adapted. Users can now jump directly from the user interface of the innovation tool to the customer's central SAP ERP system and transfer specific information there directly. DMK management can now get a quicker overview of upcoming innovation decisions thanks to new approval workflows and a custom app. Initial steps have also been taken to develop the system, which was originally designed as a workflow tool with fixed process steps, into an instrument that enables project managers to more actively control their innovation projects. Parallel to the development work, the customer used various communication measures to increase user acceptance of the system, including regular training sessions and feedback rounds, newsletters, and process workshops.
