Digital platform for audioXchange

Together with the developers at audioXchange, we implemented a platform for digitizing the planning and booking processes for radio advertising slots.

Shortcuts to the project

Our goal for the project: to modernize and further develop the audioXchange booking platform. The platform serves as a marketplace and central communication channel for trading radio and audio inventory. Our focus was on digitizing and automating the entire supply chain in the planning and booking process for the audio industry.

What can the platform do?

The modernized platform integrates individual products and prices from affiliated radio stations and marketers. Agencies and direct customers have free access to the booking platform, while marketers and providers can make their inventory available on the market via audioXchange.

Use of innovative technology

The technology driving the audio industry was developed using cloud-based infrastructure and GraphQL interfaces. From down-to-earth data processing to AI automation, the platform offers a wide range of features. These innovations aim to transform the entire industry and enable efficient, digitized trading of radio and audio inventory.

The operators of audioXchange are open to other market participants who want to connect thematically relevant applications. This openness creates space for continuous innovation and makes it possible to constantly adapt the platform to the changing needs of the audio industry.

What technologies were used?

The audioXchange platform was implemented using the programming languages Java (using Spring Boot and Quarkus) and C# (using .NET 8 and the ChilliCream GraphQL Platform). Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes were implemented using GitLab. A microservice structure was deliberately chosen for the platform's architecture, with the various services communicating with each other via KubeMQ as a message broker. The services are provided in a Docker cluster hosted by our infrastructure experts.
