Shortcuts to the project
The challenge was to create an efficient, user-friendly online application service that would replace the previous analog procedures and could be integrated into the specialized procedures of the approval authorities. Particular focus was placed on meeting the “one for all” minimum requirements and taking into account the specific structural conditions in Bremen. This project underscores Bremen's leading role in modernizing administrative processes in the area of “family and children.”
Implementation strategy
The implementation was carried out in close cooperation with the IT service provider Dataport and the relevant specialist departments. The technical and functional requirements were defined through detailed analyses and stakeholder interviews. Within six months, an interdisciplinary team used a customizable and modular framework to create a minimum viable product (MVP), followed by an expanded minimum marketable product (MMP). We also took on the development of a reuse campaign for rollout in other federal states and municipalities.
Implementation technology
The solution is based on the OSI framework and uses modern development methods, including Scrum, to ensure a scalable and secure platform. Automated build systems and multi-stage testing ensure the quality and functionality of the application.
Methods and technologies used: Agile project management methods (Scrum), modular online service framework (OSI based on .Net), full-stack development, UX design, automated testing, and marketing.
