Shortcuts to the project
We have successfully implemented the SAP Integration Suite in collaboration with HANSA-FLEX AG, a leading German industrial company in fluid technology. This project marks a significant step in the digital transformation of HANSA-FLEX. The main goal of this project was to replace the outdated Datahub interface for customer import with a modern, efficient solution. The existing customer and hose management data interface between SAP 4 Hana and SAP Commerce had to be redesigned to synchronize data unidirectionally to SAP Commerce and bidirectionally between the systems.
Agile ODATA integration for SAP systems
The project began with careful documentation of the existing interface, which served as the basis for development in three systems: ERP, Commerce, and Integration Suite. The planning and implementation of the necessary changes took place in agile sprints, with us taking on both the overall and technical project management. Development focused on implementing an ODATA interface, which enables improved error handling and requires less maintenance than the old interface.

Improved error handling
Within the specified timeframe of seven months, we successfully replaced the old interface with the new solution. Thanks to the technological modernization and the use of the ODATA interface, HANSA-FLEX saw a significant improvement in error handling, reduced maintenance costs, and increased system stability. In addition, replacing the outdated data hub eliminated the need for support and patches, which freed up additional resources. The SAP Integration Suite project at HANSA-FLEX is a prime example of successful digital transformation in industry. Thanks to our innovative approach and competent implementation, we were able to create a future-proof and user-friendly platform that lays the foundation for further growth and increased efficiency at HANSA-FLEX.
