With a fleet of several ships, the shipping company is one of the leading providers in the growing market of tourist ocean cruises. In order to meet the increasing demands for smooth process handling, the company relies on continuous optimization of its SAP system landscape. We have been supporting the shipping company in the further development of its enterprise software since 2008. The focus is on the integration and optimization of processes and the seamless connection of tourism front-end systems to the SAP back office. A particular challenge is the commercial consolidation of large amounts of data from different systems – from booking platforms and ship cash registers to on-board billing. Through close cooperation and customized IT solutions, we support the customer with 2nd and 3rd level support and ensure the efficient mapping of complex billing processes.
Efficient implementation and continuous optimization
We maintain and further develop central SAP modules, including FI (Finance), CO (Controlling), EC-PA (Profit Center Accounting), PS (Project System), and MM (Materials Management). As part of our 2nd and 3rd level support, we process change requests, enhancement requests, and incidents. We also support release changes and ensure quality assurance for incoming interfaces.
In addition to support, we implement targeted process optimization projects. We carry these out in small, effective teams of 1 to 5 employees in order to respond flexibly and efficiently to customer needs. On the customer side, application managers coordinate communication with the specialist departments, while we manage documentation and requirements management centrally using the OTRS ticket tool.
Thanks to fixed and continuous contact persons, we have built up valuable process know-how over the years and continuously developed it further. Depending on the scope of the project and the requirements, we work remotely or directly on site at the company headquarters to ensure optimal support.
