Conducting the application process

Legal basis:

Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR (processing necessary for the performance of a contract) and/or

Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR (legitimate interests of the controller: selection of applicants (m/f/d)) and/or

Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR (your consent for the transfer)

Recipients:

Your personal data will not be shared with third parties.

Only if you have consented to your application being added to the talent pool or shared within the corporate group will your application documents be shared with companies in the team neusta Group, if applicable.

The data is hosted within the EU by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Ireland as part of the data processing agreement with HRWorks GmbH. You can find HRWorks’ privacy policy here and AWS’s security information here.

Transfer to a third country:

A transfer to a third country occurs only in connection with job applications to team neusta Schweiz AG. According to a decision by the European Commission, Switzerland is considered a safe third country.

Retention period:

Up to 6 months after the application process is completed; after that, the documents and data will be deleted or returned. If you have consented to the sharing of your application materials, they may also be retained for up to 18 months for future use.

Your Rights:

  • As a job applicant, you have the following rights:
  • Right of access (Article 15 of the GDPR)
  • Right to rectification (Article 16 of the GDPR)
  • Right to erasure or restriction of processing (Articles 17 and 18
  • of the GDPR)
  • Right to object to processing (Article 21 of the GDPR)
  • Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR)

To exercise the above rights, please contact the company to which you applied or the Data Protection Officer.

Your right to withdraw consent:

You may withdraw your consent to the sharing of your application materials with other companies in the team neusta at any time by sending an email to the company that posted the job opening, specifying the job title.

Right to lodge a complaint:

Under Article 77 of the GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the GDPR.
