neusta aerospace in the consortium of the "Cooperants" project

The neusta aerospace team is involved in the "COOPERANTS" lighthouse project. This is embedded in the initiative of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) to develop innovative and practical applications and data spaces in the GAIA-X digital ecosystem. It is the first research and development project for the Bremen-based company and therefore a significant step.

As part of the GAIA-X funding competition for the development of innovative and practical applications and data spaces in the GAIA-X digital ecosystem, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) has decided to fund the "Collaborative Processes and Services for Aeronautics and Space" (COOPERANTS) project. On February 11 of this year, the team officially launched the project together with the project sponsor, the Federal Network Agency.

Together with other partners in the consortium, such as the German Aerospace Center - Space Systems (DLR-RY, consortium leader), Airbus Defence and Space, OHB Systems and other SMEs as well as scientific partners such as DFKI, neusta aerospace is now starting the hot project phase in Q3. "COOPERANTS" aims to accelerate the digitalization of processes in the aerospace industry and develop more efficient, decentralized forms for future working methods and processes across the entire life cycle of space and air vehicles. The neusta aerospace team is responsible for developing the digital project management tool.

"We are delighted to be able to contribute our expertise to this important project for the aerospace industry. It is our first research and development project and then directly together with the BMWK - a significant step for us," says Arno Scheidereiter, Managing Director of neusta aerospace.

All further information on the project can be found in the official DRL press release.
