The team at IT-Bildungshaus organizes both internal and external training courses for employees and customers. They provide particular support to those retraining as IT specialists for application development.
The two- or three-year retraining program covers theoretical and exam-relevant content. The retraining content is divided into three categories: application development (basics of IT, HTML, Java, PHP, and much more), network technology (IT systems technology, hardware, operating systems, and much more), and the organization of business processes (law and data protection, project management, agile methods, documentation, and much more). Particular emphasis is placed on practical exercises. In order to work even more practically, several internships are carried out. These can take place within our group of companies or externally. The IT training center is always on hand to provide advice and mediation and helps to establish connections within the network. In most cases, after completing their retraining, the retrainees have the opportunity to be hired by the companies where they completed their 6-8 month internship.
This year, 14 graduates successfully completed their retraining. Twelve of the 14 graduates decided to stay with our group of companies—we are proud of that! This collaboration is very important to us because we are investing in the employees of tomorrow. In times of skilled labor shortages, it is also difficult to attract employees in the IT industry. The IT training center makes us future-oriented, counteracts bottlenecks, and introduces people to IT.
