At the end of November, the award ceremony for the “excellent family-friendly” seal took place once again at Bremen City Hall. Over 40 companies received awards, and we were among them. This award is presented by the RKW Bremen Career & Family Service Center and is an important milestone for us. It demonstrates our commitment to supporting our employees in different stages of their lives and giving them the opportunity to balance their work with their personal commitments and needs.
At a time when the compatibility of work and family life is becoming increasingly important, we are delighted that our measures are being recognized and honored. These include flexible working time models, fair parental leave arrangements, parent-child workplaces, emergency childcare, regulated return-to-work concepts, and information on caring for relatives.
We have also defined our further course of action and a number of topics for review, such as the possibility of mobile working from abroad and father-friendly measures in the company.
