Bremen, 27.05. - The TOP internet agencies in Germany have been determined today: the results of the Internet Agency Ranking 2024 have been published. We are delighted to be in 5th place with a fee turnover of 112.502 million euros. The total turnover is around 163 million euros. This ranking confirms our position as one of the leading digital agencies in Germany. We have been among the TOP 5 internet agencies in the ranking for over 10 years - this underlines our expertise and our commitment to the digital sector.
We also took 5th place in the “Digital transformation and strategy” sub-ranking with a share of fee revenue of 33.75 million euros. We came 4th in the “E-Commerce” sub-ranking. The share of fee turnover is 43.87 million euros. The sub-rankings each list the largest providers for the relevant area of application according to the share of turnover that the company generates in the specific area. Only companies that generate at least 30% of their turnover in the respective area of application qualify for the sub-rankings.
A total of 141 digital agencies were admitted to the 2024 ranking, which reported a combined fee-based turnover of EUR 2.484 billion and 19,978 permanent employees. The associated trend analysis shows that more than half of fee revenue is generated in the areas of digital advertising/communication and e-commerce. The remainder is attributable to the areas of platforms and digital transformation/strategy.
About the ranking
The Internet Agency Ranking has been compiled annually since 2001 by the German Digital Industry Association (BVDW) in cooperation with iBusiness, Horizont and W&V. The industry barometer provides an overview of the top-selling full-service Internet agencies in the German digital market. Competitors are ranked in the market based on their fee turnover and number of employees. The ranking thus offers customers an important orientation aid in their search for a suitable internet agency.
