Bremen, May 27 – The top internet agencies in Germany have been announced today: the results of the 2024 internet agency ranking have been published. We are delighted to have come in 5th place with fee revenue of €112.502 million. Total revenue stands at around €163 million. This ranking confirms our position as one of Germany's leading digital agencies. We have been among the top 5 internet agencies in the ranking for over 10 years – underscoring our expertise and commitment to the digital industry.
In addition, we took 5th place in the sub-ranking “Digital Transformation and Strategy” with fee revenue of €33.75 million. We came in 4th place in the “E-commerce” sub-ranking. Our share of fee revenue is €43.87 million. The sub-rankings list the largest providers for the respective application area according to the share of revenue that the company generates in that specific area. Only companies that generate at least 30% of their revenue in the respective application area qualify for the sub-rankings.
A total of 141 digital agencies were admitted to the 2024 ranking, which together reported fee revenues of €2.484 billion and 19,978 permanent employees. The accompanying trend analysis shows that more than half of the fee revenues are attributable to the areas of digital advertising/communication and e-commerce. The rest is accounted for by the areas of platforms and digital transformation/strategy.
About the ranking
The Internet Agency Ranking has been compiled annually since 2001 by the German Digital Economy Association (BVDW) in cooperation with iBusiness, Horizont, and W&V. The industry barometer provides an overview of the full-service Internet agencies with the highest revenues in the German digital market. Competitors are ranked based on fee revenues and employee numbers. The ranking thus offers customers an important guide when searching for a suitable internet agency.
