Our ticketing solution has been in use at the Sendesaal Bremen since June 19. Ticket sales have been significantly higher since its introduction compared to the same period last year – a complete success. The ticketing solution from neusta sports is specially tailored to the needs of cultural venues. A simple interface guides Sendesaal visitors quickly and without distraction to seat-specific booking and enables modern payment methods such as PayPal and, in the near future, Klarna and SEPA direct debit. The so-called jacket seat rule ensures the best possible utilization of the premises by avoiding empty seats between individual bookings.
The Sendesaal was looking for a contemporary solution and found it at neusta sports. Previously, it was not possible to gain admission with an online ticket. "In the future, concert guests will be able to book their tickets for specific seats, making long queues at the box office and in front of the hall door a thing of the past. The great thing is that we have a system that fits our needs perfectly: the motivated development team at neusta sports and ticketing expert Rainer Glaap have ensured that all guests can now quickly and easily obtain their tickets and desired seats in the listed hall," says Elisabeth Champollion, artistic director of the Sendesaal. Online tickets can be downloaded as PDF documents, stored in the wallet on a smartphone, or accessed directly after logging into your own online ticketing account.
The team at neusta sports, which is already successful in sports ticketing, has implemented the most important features for cultural ticketing in a very short time – moving away from games and stadiums to events and hall plans. “Having already gained a lot of experience in the field of sports ticketing, we were able to gain valuable insights into cultural ticketing with the Sendesaal and translate them into a practical system. We are looking forward to a successful season together,” said Carsten Meyer-Heder, owner and managing director of team neusta.
The “athletic” schedule posed a particular challenge for the project: the specification, implementation, and commissioning of the new solution, including the implementation of new functions, had to be completed within two and a half months. With the active support of ticketing expert Rainer Glaap, the new system was able to go live as planned with the press conference for the new season on June 19. Ticket sales have been running smoothly ever since. With the season starting in September, tickets will be sold at the box office at low cost using a receipt printer. Access control will be carried out simply by scanning purchased tickets with a smartphone.
