Digitalization of the Sales Processes of Gebrüder Heinemann

The Gebrüder Heinemann commissioned us to digitize their sales processes. We relied on the SAP Commerce Cloud, a flexible solution that supports the company's digitalization strategy in a forward-looking way.

We were commissioned to set up the B2B sales platform "HeiCloud" based on SAP Commerce Cloud (part of the c4/HANA product family) for Gebrüder Heinemann. The goal was to automate the numerous sales processes previously performed manually in the future and to be able to interact with customers more efficiently and faster. Christian Schwidlinski, Team Lead Digital Commerce Solutions at Gebr. Heinemann is pleased with the success of the project: “The new platform increases internal efficiency by digitizing and automating manual processes."

The Implementation

We launched the initiative "HeiCloud" back in March 2019.

We planned 6 major milestones for the implementation. The customer feedback after the go-live of the first milestone at the end of Q3/2019 confirmed that we were on the right track with the pilot customer tests and were able to impress with high quality.

Then we went into the second project iteration, the expansion of the B2B sales platform with new functionalities. For the next milestone, we planned the concept of the user experience (UX) and the design of the user guidance (UI). In Q1/2020, we were able to design processes for creating, viewing and managing service requests and then launch them "in time and budget".

The roadmap for 2020 is ready and we will continue to adapt it in an agile way of working. In this way, we will focus on the downloading of marketing materials, the forecasting and the availability of products in the future and look forward to further cooperation.
