Analysis
The first step was to check how much effort would be required to update to the next Magnolia version and whether it would be worth switching to a different CMS. Conception & development
From March 2023, the conception and development of the design was carried out with the Community Edition of Magnolia. As this was not the Enterprise Edition of Magnolia, functionalities such as the multisite function had to be developed independently and implemented in a cost-efficient manner. In addition, the front-end development framework "Frontwerk" and the "enhanced Author Experience" (eAX) were used.

Accessibility
Accessibility was taken into account in the design: text is available in plain language, font sizes can be adjusted and the websites can be operated using a keyboard. This enables everyone to access the information provided.
