Our Commitment to Sustainability

Think and act for the long term

Sustainability is a core value of our corporate group. We act responsibly, with a long-term perspective, and in a solution-oriented manner. By supporting the UN Global Compact—a UN initiative promoting human rights, fair labor practices, environmental protection, and the fight against corruption—we are committed to ethical business practices.

Our EcoVadis Rating

We have been awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing us among the top 15% of companies assessed worldwide. EcoVadis evaluates companies’ sustainability performance in areas such as the environment, ethics, labor and human rights, and responsible supply chains. The Silver Medal demonstrates that our commitment to sustainable and responsible practices has been verified and recognized.

Sustainable Development Goals at team neusta

The United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provide us with guidance for our sustainable actions. They help us address global challenges such as inequality, climate change, and environmental degradation. Together with our stakeholders, we are implementing concrete measures to contribute to a sustainable future.

SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being

Our initiatives to promote health in the workplace and in the community include measures to prevent illness and promote mental health; we aim to encourage our employees to stay active and to detect and treat illnesses early on.

SDG 4: Quality Education

We promote IT education through training, retraining, workshops, and knowledge sharing. We are also involved in educational programs for children and young people, provide guidance on thesis projects, and share our expertise through lectures, teaching assignments, and discussions.

SDG 5: Gender Equality

We promote a healthy work-life balance through trust, personal responsibility, flexible working hours, remote work, and individualized arrangements. For this, we have been awarded the “Outstanding Family-Friendly” seal of quality by the State of Bremen.

SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy

We rely on energy-efficient technologies, certified green electricity, and conscious energy conservation to reduce our energy consumption and carbon footprint.

SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth

We offer fair wages, good working conditions, and a respectful work culture in line with our “team code.” Modern, safe workplaces and health and wellness programs support the well-being of our employees.

SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities

We embrace diversity, equal opportunity, and inclusion. Through initiatives such as Diversity Day, the Diversity Challenge, Avanja, accessible workplaces, and the Inklupreneur program, we promote participation and reduce inequalities.

SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities

  • Bicycle leasing through JobRad and participation in the “Cycle to Work” program
  • Electric vehicles in the company fleet and charging stations at the workplace
  • Support for carpooling, the Deutschlandticket, and carsharing
  • Remote work and flexible hours to reduce commuting

SDG 13: Climate Action

We reduce waste and resource consumption through waste sorting, the use of glass bottles, digital processes, extending the lifespan of hardware, passing on used devices, recycling, and energy- and CO₂-saving measures.

SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals

We prefer to work with regional suppliers and partners in order to support the local economy and minimize transportation distances.
