Introduction of an SAP system for TUI

As part of our largest single order in the history of the team neusta group of companies, we implemented the introduction of an SAP system for the tour operator TUI.

Shortcuts to the project

New SAP software is to be introduced for processes in the order-to-cash environment. The software will cover accounts receivable, invoicing, and controlling processes, completely replacing the Oracle e-Business Suite previously used. In addition, a large number of tourism systems are to be connected to the new solution. After more than two years of project work, we were able to introduce an SAP industry solution for tourism at TUI. We plan to introduce the complete SAP solution at other international TUI subsidiaries in the future.

Replacing the Oracle system

A joint project team consisting of specialists from TUI and IT experts from our company implemented a comprehensive SAP solution for the German market. We combined agile approaches with classic project management methods.
The solution was deliberately implemented close to the SAP standard in order to minimize individual adjustments and enable later use in other European countries. Central processes for processing large amounts of data—from customer and agency master data to booking, rebooking, and cancellation data—are now fully automated. In addition, the data from the previous Oracle system was successfully migrated and integrated into the new SAP landscape via suitable interfaces.
