Turning movement into rewards – Watt can do that! The app uses Health Kit to convert physical activity into points. These points can then be redeemed for local rewards and benefits. Our client Energis wanted a solution to retain existing customer groups and acquire new young customers. To this end, we created an app-based B2C customer loyalty program. Points are collected in a playful way through exercise and can be exchanged for high-quality rewards. Data can be collected, analyzed, and used for long-term CRM activities for segmented target group addressing and individual campaign management. Our concept goes beyond individual fitness and offers a platform for community and collaboration. Our app encourages users to collect points together, thereby strengthening the sense of community. We relied on extensive communication measures for the launch. These included branded products and holistic branded packaging, which strengthened the brand identity and ensured recognition.
Earn points with every step
The highlight: count steps, collect points. The target group can collect points in a playful way and through exercise. These can then be exchanged for high-quality rewards. The focus is on sustainable customer retention and new customer acquisition, especially among young target groups.
To avoid long planning and development phases, the focus was on a quick, functional go-live—i.e., MVP—and agile development. This was complemented by ongoing optimizations based on findings from A/B and multivariate testing.
In numerous challenges, users compete either against each other or against the consumption of an electrical appliance to earn additional points. This gives them a feel for how much energy a vacuum cleaner actually consumes. The result is clear: there is a small power plant inside each of us.

Dreh- und Angelpunkt der Kampagne war die Produktion eines aufwändig produzierten TV-Spots. Eigens konzipierte Landingpages- sowie Themenpages im Rahmen besonderer Aktionen oder dem Erreichen von Milestones unterstützen die Einführung der App.
