Shortcuts to the project
This project focused on accelerating and simplifying the certification process at youth welfare offices by digitizing the application process. Citizens can now quickly and easily submit the necessary paperwork online, allowing the required certification appointment at the youth welfare office to be processed more quickly. The jurisdiction finder is used to determine the correct authority to which to submit an appointment request.
Design phase
Together with partners such as Dataport and the youth welfare office, we developed the legal and functional requirements to ensure a user-centered service. It was necessary for the online service to meet the minimum requirements of the EfA principle (“one for all”) in order to be rolled out to other federal states and municipalities at a later date.
Implementation phase
An agile, cross-functional team made up of our employees developed a minimum viable product (MVP) within three months, which was launched immediately afterwards. Two months later, the extended minimal marketable product (MMP) followed. The online service was implemented in close cooperation with the project partners and using agile methods.
Technological implementation
The solution was developed on the modular OSI framework, which provides a flexible and expandable platform for the service. Automated testing procedures and multi-stage quality assurance ensure the integrity and security of the service.
