Whistleblower system

Implementation of the Whistleblower Protection Act and the option to submit anonymous reports

To ensure that our group of companies acts in an ethical manner and in compliance with the law, we have established a whistleblowing system, which also serves to prevent any breaches of applicable law and company policies. This initiative is aimed at our management, all employees within our group of companies, and our business partners. Through this whistleblowing system, our employees and business partners (suppliers, customers, etc.) can address questions and concerns relating to compliance issues to us; they also have the option of reporting (any) breaches of the law, our Code of Conduct and our company policies – including completely anonymously.

Implementation of a system in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)

We are mindful of our corporate and social responsibility to respect human rights and the environment throughout our group’s entire value chain. We are committed to respecting and protecting the human rights of every individual and the environment in our own business activities as well as in our supply and value chains, to identifying human rights and environmental risks, and to enabling those affected to seek redress in the event of human rights violations. That is why we are currently working on the design and implementation of a tool to manage suppliers in accordance with the LkSG.

Data as a valuable asset worthy of protection

Data protection is a legal requirement set out in the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We naturally comply with these legal requirements. Handling the data of our employees, customers, partners and suppliers in a secure and trustworthy manner is part of our corporate responsibility. Our Data Protection Officer and her team provide proactive and thorough advice to the data controllers within our group on all matters relating to data protection.

A dedicated team for IT security and the challenges in this field

Cybercrime is affecting more and more businesses – particularly small and medium-sized enterprises. Successful attacks can threaten a company’s very existence. That is why we place a strong emphasis on the security of IT systems. We have implemented a far-reaching and comprehensive security infrastructure for our employees and external partners. Our admin team and a dedicated IT security team ensure that our system continuously adapts to new challenges. We want to provide a secure digital working environment for our teams and our customers.
