team neusta extends its long-term partnership with SV Werder Bremen

Bremen-based company takes over relaunch of Werder.de, Werder.TV, and the online shop.

Bremen, October 19, 2021 – team neusta will continue to support SV Werder Bremen in its digital transformation. The intensive partnership, which has been in place since 2013, was extended for another seven years in August. At the same time, the extension of the collaboration marks the start of a comprehensive relaunch of SV Werder's digital platforms. Together with other companies in the team neusta group, neusta sports is once again responsible for the design and implementation of the digital touchpoints. These include the WERDER.DE website, the official online shop, and the WERDER.TV web TV portal. In order to offer fans an even more intense and personal digital experience of their favorite club in the future, Werder Bremen continues to rely on the hub:ahead platform solution from neusta sports.

For its digital realignment, the second division soccer club is drawing on the combined expertise of the digital family team neusta. A new UX design is being developed in accordance with current WCAG standards to offer all website and shop visitors an optimized, barrier-free fan experience. Enhancing the customer experience in the green and white online shop is of central importance. In the future, this will be achieved through a significantly more personalized approach to fans. The technological basis for this is a new e-commerce system that neusta sports will introduce in 2022 as part of its hub:ahead platform.

"Our new e-commerce system will be based on the Pimcore framework and seamlessly integrated into the existing platform. Thanks to a fully integrated PIM and DAM, it will be much more than just an online shop. In this way, we are not only providing the club with new opportunities for product presentation and target group communication, but also increasing efficiency and data quality in the management of product information," explains Rüdiger Schmidt, Managing Director of neusta sports.

In addition, the interdisciplinary project team will work together with SV Werder Bremen on new opportunities for fan interaction and innovations in the area of club TV. This will serve to bring fans and the club even closer together on the digital playing field.

A total of six companies from team neusta are involved in this project: neusta sports, neusta software development, neusta marketing, neusta experience, HEC, and neusta infrastructure services.
