What was the goal?
Choosing the right toilet seat is a very complicated process for many users. The goal of the project was to simplify this process digitally while also developing a scalable platform that quickly and reliably identifies suitable models and can also be used as a white-label solution by other manufacturers.

We help companies develop digital products—from concept and UX/UI design to technical implementation. As part of a research project, we developed an innovative solution for the Toilet Seat Finder that breaks new ground in digital product recognition and clearly stands out from the competition.
What was the result?
The app guides users from product selection through to checkout, significantly reducing the effort involved in selecting and reordering items. At the same time, the platform serves as a scalable white-label solution through which a significant portion of several manufacturers’ sales are now processed under their own brands.
Key Benefits at a glance
Toilet Seat Detection
The app uses specially developed AI to help customers identify their current toilet seat. It not only recognizes the existing seat but also suggests similar models from the HARO range.
Virtual Trial
After selecting a toilet seat, customers can try it out virtually on their actual toilet. The HARO Toilet Seat Finder app thus ensures that the selected seat meets the customer’s expectations.
Automatic measurement
Using LiDAR and ToF sensors in smartphones, the app enables precise measurement of the width, length, and hole spacing of the toilet bowl, which is used for automatic measurement.
White labeling
The app was developed from the outset as a flexible white-label platform and is already being used by several manufacturers under their own brand names.

Successful modernization of the GdP app
We completely modernized the existing police union (GdP) app by redeveloping the frontend and backend, improving user-friendliness and successfully digitizing the patrol assistant. In doing so, we placed particular emphasis on data protection and increasing server security.
